Unlike other pizzas, Flying Wedge does not throw raw ingredients together with processed cheeses, bland sauces and ready- made dough. We strive to use only 100% natural ingredients on our delicious creations. Our pizzas are made fresh daily at each restaurant and every single pizza is constructed by hand. Add this to the astonishing sizes of our Wedge slices and pies (our extra-large pizzas average between 6.0 to 6.5 lbs and our Wedges weigh up to ¾ of a pound) and you begin to realize the meaning of great pizza!

We continually rotate our pizza flavours, introducing and reappointing one-of-a-kind flavour combinations, and why our Research and Development team is always tasting and testing for the next award-winning creation!

 


Whether you enjoy classic toppings like fresh pepperoni or opt for the more exotic like South African Peppa Dew™ piquante peppers or Dulcinea Rosso Bruno™ tomatoes, Flying Wedge offers a one-of-a-kind variety. We use the finest meats (that do not contain monosodium glutamate [MSG] or Trans Fats) and fresh herbs and vegetables.  Loads of toppings generously cover our pizzas “straight to the crust-free edge”, creating a pie that guarantees toppings “bite-after-bite”.

 


You will not find any processed cheeses on our wedges. Our Cheesiest Cheese Blend is a mixture of partly-skimmed and full-fat Monterey Jack cheeses that have been selected for colour, texture and most importantly, taste.

 


Beneath the layers of premium toppings are slowly simmered sauces and marinades that are seasoned with heavenly herbs and spices. The unique flavours and topping combinations we offer have never failed to impress the eclectic tastes of our customers from around the world!

 


Our signature whole wheat and flax-in thin crusts are handmade daily from either herb-infused or flax-infused (using whole and cracked flax seeds) dough. The flax-in dough is used for our thin crust pizzas which are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and ideal for those who are “carb-conscious”.  These pizzas contain approximately 1/3 fewer calories and 1/3 fewer carbohydrates than regular crusts.
